Professional services

TEfA strives to empower more professionals dedicated to supporting the non/limited/unreliably speaking autistic community. Alex, our founder, leads our mentorship and professional services, ensuring that our participants develop the theoretical and practical skills they need to support students and families. We are committed to growing our network of professionals responsibly with regular supervisions and in-person support in place; this will ensure we continue to serve the best interests of the non, minimally and unreliably speaking autistic community.

With TEfA you will find:

Defined levels, areas of learning and standards for Professionals: Becoming competent to support a diverse range of individuals requires knowledge, practical skills and experience (as well as the right mindset!). We have robust training programmes to support professionals in the UK area.

Experienced Guidance: With years of dedicated service, we bring expertise and understanding to the table. Our experience enables us to drive progression for each student, regardless of their barriers to learning and expression. In the UK we work with a network of professionals and LEAs to support our students.

In-person support: All professional programmes include in-person observation, feedback and support with implementation. There is no substitute to in-person support and it is a key feature of our programmes. Our programmes also include online support to provide regular check-ins.

Reflective Provider support: Our ultimate aim is to help new providers develop the confidence, skills and awareness to continuously reflect and improve as they work with a diverse range of autistic individuals.
